Liquid waterproofing on the St Bavo's Cathedral roof.

Tectum Protectum renovated the main entrance roof with roofing and liquid waterproofing. We used a P3 underlay and an APP top layer on this job. We worked the edges with PMMA.

Tijl Lauwers: “The challenge of this project lay in the details. We applied the liquid waterproofing directly on the natural stone. The building dates from the Middle Ages, so we had to take extra care to avoid any damage. We also applied liquid waterproofing adjoining the balustrades.”

Saint-Bavo's Cathedral is located in the heart of Ghent and is open to the public.
